The Gem – Mini Golf Course
For the fun and fancy of it, our 18-hole mini golf course lets the whole family get into the swing of the game. The Gem is designed to blend in with the natural surroundings of the grounds of Grand Hotel.

Recreation Courts
Set the stage for some friendly competition and give it your all on the center’s recreation courts for pickleball, bocce ball, and shuffleboard. The recreation courts are available to rent hourly.

Cedar Grove Bike Track
The new Cedar Grove Bike Track at Woodlands Activity Center ‘brims’ with features that daring enthusiasts love!
The track is a low-risk, high-fun environment geared to kids, but is fun for all bike riders aged 10 and up. Open to guests and visitors, the bike track includes approximately 400 feet of aggregate chip seal surface in a configuration designed for both safety and adventure.
Pricing per 15 minutes – $12.00
Bike Rentals
With over 70 miles of natural and paved trails, Mackinac Island is the perfect place to go on a bike tour. Bicycles are available for rent between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. There is a two-hour minimum rental on all bicycles.
Nature Center
In keeping with our love of gardens and our pride in all things Mackinac Island, plants and flowers native to the Island will be the stars of this working greenhouse at the Woodlands Activity Center. Expand your knowledge and delight the senses by spending some rejuvenating time taking in the sights and fragrances of the greenhouse.
